Mission Statements:

The Student Government Association is a premier opportunity for students at Brookwood High School to take leadership and become involved in community service opportunities and school functions. We meet most months on Wednesdays in the theater in order to discuss plans for upcoming events and to talk about how to best lead our peers. Also, we have family meetings to contribute new ideas.

Student Government Association is in charge of a variety of events throughout the year ranging from Homecoming to Haunted F-Hall to Miracle Marathon for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We also have a multitude of community service days and parties for SGA members only. Participation in the planning and running of these events is required for all members.

The leadership of SGA is the Executive Board, consisting of a President, Vice President, Communications Director, Historian, and Secretary which are complimented by grade level officers, a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Historian. Elections are held at the end of each school year for next year's officers with each grade level officer being elected by their grade and the Executive Board being elected by the current year's Student Government.
